WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE!

Matunuck, Rhode Island is located in South County, Rhode Island. It is approximatley 40 minutes from Providence and 20 minutes from Westerly. Matunuck, including East Matunuck and Matunuck Beach Road,is a beautifully kept secret of culture and ambience.

Just across the channel is Galilee, seafood capital of Rhode Island. The Block Island ferry also takes off from Galilee. It is a 15 minute drive from East Matunuck, but it could be a 5 minute swim. Do not swim across the channel.

Here is Skip's Dock. Skip's Dock is the only fish market on the East Matunuck side of the channel.

Skip's dock dates back to the early 1900's, and the original structure still remains. Owned by a local family, the Trager's, it prides itself as being another beautifully kept secret. Be sure to try the chowder!

Ocean Mist bar in Matunuck is home to Sublime tribute band, Bad Fish.

Ocean Mist is also a popular venue for many reggae artists like Beenie Man (above)
